Dear All,
On the subject of student rates the consensus was:
1. sudents are eligible if they are accompanied by their supervisor
2. the WoTUG subsidy should be 89 pounds so that the student would
pay 150 pounds for conference fee plus accommodation.
3. How can we limit these expenses in a meaningfull way?
So far I have had a request from Alastair, from Eric Demaine (author) and
three Danish students.
Only Alastair's students satisfy rule 1. The others come unaccompanied.
My proposal is that WoTUG offers a stipend to a maximum of 10 students.
The students apply for a stipend via the WoTUG20 web page directly to Barry
Cook
the WoTUG treasurer. Barry informs me that WoTUG accepts the students and I
will bill WoTUG, unless I made a profit.
And we delete the requirement of supervisor company...
