Die Math und CS haben da auch eine fette Installation und zwei detaillierte Berichte veroeffentlicht ("First Experiences ..."). In Deutschland wuerde ich die GMD noch greppen. Die haben mit ihrer SP1-8 schon einen Haufen Projekte gemacht. Ich habe heute Morgen Prof.Trottenberg gehoert, der mit den Wetterleuten (EMWC in UK usw) parallelisiert hat. Dann gibts da viele Kontakte zur PARMACS-Welt. An Literatur kann man noch die Proceedings der HPCN '94 in Muenchen (Herausgeber Gentzsch, Springer-Verlag) und Supercomputer '94 (Herausgeber Meurer) empfehlen. Im ersten sind viele Anwenderberichte (Physik, Chemie, CFD, Wetter/Klima), im zweiten wird z.B. SAP R/3 auf SP2 vorgestellt. Wenn ich mich nicht irre, sind die Argonne bereichte auch bei uns auf dem anonymen ftp eingestapelt (ftp.cnb.compunet.de pub/doc/parallel/hardware/sp1 oder so). Ausserdem wuerde ich einen Blick auf http://www.cnb.compunet.de werfen. Da sind unter Parallel Computing noch ein paar Pointer auf interessante Sites (Argonne z.B.). IBM PowerParallel Division ist als Gast beim Cornell Theory Center eingenistet und hat da ziemlich ausfuehrlich einiges abgelegt. Dann gibts da als Informationsquellen noch die, die eher faul im Netz sind, aber so eine Buechse haben (die meisten haben jetzt kleine mit 8 Knoten und haben SP2 bestellt). DLR (Goettingen?)
