INTRODUCTION
------------

Several mailing lists exist at NAS for the discussion of using and
administrating Thinking Machines CM-5 and Intel iPSC/860 and Paragon
parallel supercomputers.

These mailing lists are open to all persons interested in the systems.

The lists are:

LIST-NAME DESCRIPTION
cm5-managers -- discussion of administrating the TMC CM-5
cm5-users -- " " using the TMC CM-5
ipsc-managers -- " " administrating the Intel iPSC/860
ipsc-users -- " " using the Intel iPSC/860
paragon-managers -- " " administrating the Intel Paragon
paragon-users -- " " using the Intel Paragon

The ipsc-* lists at cornell are going away, the lists here will
replace them. (ISUG members will be receiving information on this in
the near future.) The cm5-users list is intended to complement the
lbolt list at MSC.

SUBSCRIBING/UNSUBSCRIBING
-------------------------

All of the above lists are run with the listproc package. In the
examples below, substitute the name of the list from the above table
for the text "LIST-NAME".

To subscribe to any of the lists, send email to
listproc@nas.nasa.gov with a *BODY* of

subscribe LIST-NAME your_full_name

Please note:
 - you are subscribed with the address that you sent the email from.
You cannot subscribe an address other than your own. This is
considered a security feature, but I haven't gotten around to taking

 - your subscription will be handled by software, so any other text
   you send will be ignored

Unsubscribing

It is important to understand that you can only unsubscribe from the
address you subscribed from. If that is impossible, please contact
jet@nas.nasa.gov to be unsubscribed by hand. ONLY DO THIS IF
FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS DOES NOT PRODUCE THE DESIRED RESULTS! I
have better things to do than manually do things that can be
automated.
