Hi,

    I had some trouble to, then I found this big patch for mpich.
After installing the patch everything compiled and seems to work
fine.  I have only tested it on a single workstation, but I got
pmandel and cpi to compile and run. 

     Look for the patch (patch_log) at www.mcs.anl.gov/mpi/mpich/
