Thanks to all the people who responded by e-mail to my post about needing
to find an easy but informative MPI tutorial fast.  I got a lot of helpful
replies, and although I couldn't look at every one of those tutorials, I
*did* learn enough to get my project done.  (If for some reason anyone
would like a copy of my report for leisure reading, just e-mail me.  :)
After I learned the MPI basics, the program and analysis I had to
write really weren't that hard.  The project just seemed overwhelming
because I knew next to nothing about MPI.  Also, I wanted to thank one
person who responded by e-mail, Adrianos Lahanas in Cyprus, but my reply
kept bouncing back.  So, thanks for your help too, Adrianos.     

I was really impressed with all the responses I got, and I do thank all of
you for your help and for being such a friendly ng.  And now that I've
learned the basics, I think MPI is kind of cool!  (However, I *may* do 
something else over spring break.  ;)
