Hello,

Has anyone tried increasing the size of messages say to 4k(single
message), ...,512k(single message) using the LAM implementation of MPI?
Could anybody suggest:
1.how to increase LAM buffers(if necessary)
2.increase the turnaround time of writes(MPI_Send) for large messages
   sizes.

any other potential problems with large message sizes.

The writes slow down considerably at 4K message sizes.
