The only error I still have is :

Assertion failed: i < 1024, file type_util.c, line 69, pid 26980
IOT Trap

It is a problem in creating a datatype and is already
reported in http://www.netlib.org/blacs/errata.blacs -- I am
still using SGI's MPI2.0.
