Hi all,

Does anybody know which are the message size breakpoints (modes) of
sending messages under Linux with MPICH in a cluster, I have some
strange results for message sizes above 8Kb....

Is it actually a breakpoint of MPICH or of the underlying network? e.g.
same tests of bandwidth on a solaris cluster do not show any
breakpoints!
