Hello Ian,

The upcoming new release of HP MPI, release 1.4, will contain an
implementation of one-sided communication, among other MPI-2
features.  Please stay tuned to this newsgroup, we plan to announce
this version and its capabilities in a few days.

HP MPI won't help you on the IBM SP-2, obviously.
