The LAM installation directory is not in your PATH on "super2" (set
it in .cshrc, .profile, etc. depending on the shell you use).

In LAM they're called "application schema" files (see mpirun(1)).
You may also want to check the LAM(7) and MPI(7) for a quick intro
and pointers to on-line tutorials.
