To anyone who can help,

When I try to use the mpirun command, e.g. mpirun -np 2 exampleprog, I get
the message:

localhost: network is unreachable

I have to do CTRL-C to get back to the prompt.
I am running this on my home P200 computer, not connected to any network,
but I thought mpi ran on a stand-alone?
Someone has suggested a `.rhosts' file containing:

localhost root

but no matter where I stick this file it does not make a difference.

Any help/advice would be greatly apprieciated.

Crisp
