Version 1.099 of GNU Queue is now out.

Queue is an innovative program originally designed for load-balancing
and batch processing environments in homogenuous workstation clusters
that allows (among other things) the user to intuitively control remote
job execution by using local shell job control. GNU/Linux, Solaris,
Sun-OS, and HP-UX platforms are currently supported.

This is a major release of the software, featuring the following
improvements:

Blinking-lights automatic installation on supported platforms
(we hope).

Queue now periodically reads the host ACL from a file using
code contributed by Dave van Leeuwen.

Root privileges are no longer required to install GNU Queue.

A 30+ page comphrensive manual along with the usual manpage.

MPI support through "qsh" compatibility syntax. Additional
       support for MPI is planned.

       Numerous additional improvements, changes, and bug-fixes;
       see http://bioinfo.mbb.yale.edu/~wkrebs/ChangeLog.txt for
       the complete list.

The home page for GNU Queue is at http://www.gnu.org/software/queue ,
which includes download instructions.
