I've not tried them myself, but both mpi 1.1 and lam 6.1 are packed up
and ready to use:

dists/frozen/main/binary-i386/devel/mpich_1.1.0-6.deb
dists/frozen/main/binary-i386/devel/lam_6.1-1.deb
