Michael, this is an interesting request. Our company, MPI Software
Technology, Inc, already has MPI/Pro for VIA, optimized, but lacks a
commercial-grade supported VIA for Linux (1.0). We know about experimental
Linux VIAs (eg, from LBL/Bill Saphir).

So, we are planning to support MPI/Pro for VIA over Myrinet with the
Berkeley VIA implementation. This will be an example of a high quality MPI
implementation over VIA on Linux, with a high speed network.

If there should be other supported Linux networks, we plan to investigate
those also.

Please see www.mpi-softtech.com about our MPI/Pro for VI architecture. Any
references to supported Linux VIA drivers is
appreciated.

-Tony
