hi Sriram,

You might want to download and try "WARPED", our parallel simulation
kernel. The current release (version 1.0) of "WARPED" uses MPI for
communication and comes with a set of applications that exhibit the
characteristics that you are interested in. i.e. asynchronous
communication behavior and different computational loads on each
processor.

WARPED is freely available at http://www.ececs.uc.edu/~paw/warped
Let me know if you need any further assistance.

cheers,

ramanan
