Hi,

We have installed mpich version 1.1.2 on just one machine bi-processor
running under Linux redhat 5.2 kernel 2.0.36.
When a user doesn't have a local count on this machine (ie his name
isn't in the /etc/passwd file of the local machine), this user has the
following message :
        /usr/local/bin/mpirun: /usr/local/mpi/examples/PI32478:
Permission denied
        p0_32554: p4_error: create_procgroup: getpwuid failed: 0
when he types the following command /usr/local/bin/mpirun -np 2
/usr/local/mpi/examples/cpi.
Furthermore, we have a /etc/hosts.equiv file and a .rhosts (with the
access 600) for this user.
When this user types tstmachines LINUX, the program doesn't write any
error message.
Does anyone has a solution ?

Thanks.
