I am a beginner in MPI and I have a question. Is there a function in MPI that ONLY checks whether a message has been sent to that process without receiving it? For ex., I am waiting for a message to arrive but I don't want to wait around for that message. Is there a function I can call that will check whether a message has been sent to me?
