 When I try to run an mpi job across a Cray-J90 and
 SGI-R10000 I get the following

 p0_3712:  p4_error: cannot do xdr sends

 Same thing happens when I try an HP with the J90.
 However, I can run across the HP and SGI.  Same error
 happens when trying to connect the HP/SGI to a Digital.
 However, the Digital and J90 can work together.

 Im compiling mpich with the default options for each
 machine with the p4 device.  Any help would be greatly
 appreciated.
