Hi,
I have limited access to a parallel computer and need to be able to
debug codes at times when I cannot use the machine interactively. I am
wondering if MPICH can be installed and used on a single CPU workstation
so that I can do this debugging anytime I please! Does anyone ever do
this?
Is it possible, and if so, are the results (almost) exactly the same as
those obtained on a multiprocessor machine? Does the single CPU
implementation pass messages between seperate processes/threads?
I would be very grateful for any advice on this subject. Thanks in
advance
