Hi,

We are developing parallel finite element software for material
forming processes simulation using the MPI library.

Most of our development is performed on SGI Origin 2000 computers
and a network of AIX workstations.

We would like to generate versions for HP, Sun and IBM SP/2 parallel
computers. Since the sequential version work fine on many platform (IBM,

Sun,HP,SGI) and the parallel version with many MPI implementation
(MPICH,
LAM and SGI MPI) we think we can port our software by simply recompiling

with the appropriate include files and library on our 1 CPU
workstations.

Are those MPI library (HP, Sun, SP/2) available as separate products ?

We hope we don't need to buy new parallel computers to get them !
:-)

Thanks,

Martin
