That's why I have the problem, the process in #3 has the same owner
as the pvmd. There exists a master process which spawns the PVM
and all the other processes.

I tried these steps on other architectures and the problem doesn't
appear on other architectures. It appears only on UNICOS 8.0.2.
Perhaps its a problem with CRAY and not with PVM.
