Hello all,
 
         I am new to PVM. I am having trouble adding hosts to my virtual
machine ( PVM ). It keeps giving me the error message "Can't start
pvmd". I have tried those things following :
 
1) Have listed all the hosts in .rhosts
2) Made sure I have set the env variable PVM_DPATH to $PVM_ROOT/lib/pvmd
3) I tried "rsh <remotehost> $PVM_ROOT/lib/pvmd " and get the response  
like that: 7f000001:8911 I think it works. But it doesn't work when I
try to add host under PVM prompt.

         Can anyone help me solve the problem ???
