Hello!

I`m a student working on a PVM presentation and I would be very Thankful
to get the following questions answered.

Are there any (better) alternatives to PVM? If so, which are these
alternatives?
Which future prospectives does PVM have? I heard about, that the most
concentration of parallel computing isn`t focused on PVM any more.

Could someone of you answer these questions? Perhaps someone could give
me some URLs with further information, because I didn`t find anything in
the Web.

Thanks, Chris
