I'm mostly running PVM on a set of DEC Alpha machines, but I have a fairly fast Indigo 2 available as well. My slave routine compiles and links just fine on the Indigo, but when I use it I get libpvm [t40001]: pvm_upkint(): End of buffer libpvm [t40001]: Unpacking Trace Message: End of buffer errors. This looks like it happens when the slave enrolls in to PVM with the call pvmfmytid( mytid ) call. Does anyone have experience with Alphas and SGI's in the same virtual machine? thanks Mike mrangitsch@dow.com
