Hello,

I wonder how PVM and JAVA can work together? I mean, not technically,
but conceptually speaking. JAVA is still no compiled language, and, as
far as I know, is quite slower than compiled ones, such as C. So, how
can it be decided to program parallel applications (ie, time demanding
applications), with a language which is not (until now) speed-oriented?
Well, if you can show some real interest, I will be gratefull, as I of
course think that JAVA is in some way much cleaner than C.

Cheers,
