I am just starting to explore PVM. I have been trying to use the "so=ms" option with
pvm but it does not seem to be working. My .xpvm_hosts file looks like this:

&newton so=ms

And I start pvm on godel. After that when I try to add the other hosts (newton), it says

0 successful
HOST DTID
newton Can't start pvmd

What am I doing wrong ? Everything works fine if I use a .rhosts file. But I do not want to
use that method as it is not very secure.
