Aims and Scope:
===============
The scope of this session is on parallel algorithms to increase the
performance of the visualization/rendering systems. In this context,
it is essential to address the problems of load-balancing and high
communication costs.

Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

   Parallel Scientific Visualization
   Parallel Biological and Medical Imaging
   Parallel Volume Visualization and Volume Graphics
   Parallel Rendering Techniques
   Parallel Animation
   Parallel Virtual Reality

Paper Submission:
=================
Prospective authors are invited to submit three copies of their draft
paper (about 5 pages) to the session co-chairs (address is given below)
by the due date. E-mail submissions are also acceptable. The length of
the Camera-Ready papers (if accepted) will be limited to 8 pages.
Papers must not have been previously published or currently submitted
for publication elsewhere.

Criterias for acceptance are:
=============================
    Relevance to the session topic
    Novelty of contribution/ideas
    Achieved parallelism
    Universallity and elegance of proposed algorithms
    Proposed load-balancing

The first page of the draft paper should include: title of the paper,
name, affiliation, postal address, E-mail address, telephone number,
and Fax number for each author. The first page should also include the
name of the author who will be presenting the paper (if accepted) and a
maximum
of 5 keywords.

The conference proceedings will be published by CSREA Press (ISBN). It
will be a multivolume set. The proceedings will be available at the
conference. It is planned to select 20 papers for journal publication
in related journals (after the conference).
