Hi everyone,
	Since I posted my question, I found in the User's Guide
instructions to spawn a pvmd on a machine to which rsh and rexec
are disabled - my situation exactly.  I can get this to work if
I start the entire virtual machine from scratch.  I have not been
able to figure out how to do it if the virtual machine already
exists.  lib/pvmd hostfile just gives an error message that pvmd is
already running.   ????  .  Thanks.
