I have been trying to compile XPVM to run on a Redhat Linux system. I
can get it to compile, but it won't work. It will run, but will
immediately pop up a question box asking if you wish to overwrite the
previous log file. While this is normal, selecting yes immediately
causes a core dump, and selecting no causes it to hang.

Redhat 5.0 uses (from memory) TCL/TK 8 (And I know nothing about them).
I'm also using the MetroX server, but I've had the same problems on
another Redhat 5.0 system, where I was displaying the output on an HP
apollo 400.

If anyone knows a) how to solve this, or b) where I can find a binary
RPM for XPVM (that's how I installed pvm 3.3.11), it would be most
helpful.
