Hey there,

I'm basically using a master/slave configuration for the software that I
am designing. This will sit in the backgroup happily chugging away at
its given tasks. However I'm also going to have an interface that will
be separate from the master and slaves. When the interface is fired up,
it will have to locate the virtual machine and then add itself to this
so that it can communicate with the master process, and obtain
performance statistics and initiate new tasks etc.

My problem is how on earth do I locate an existing virtual machine on a
network? My next problem is how to tell it to add the machine which the
interface process is running on?

Are the any suggestions or comments. If you need me to clarify
anything, please reply.

Comments are much appreciated,

Paul Matthews
