Hi,

I'm having trouble with the University of Wisconsin "Condor" cycle
harvesting system. My problem isn't realy related to PVM, but, since
Condor supports scheduling of PVM parallel jobs, I thought this group
might be a good place to turn for help.

I've installed Condor 1.6 on a classroom/cluster of Intel machines
running RedHat Linux release 5.0, and, with a few small problems along
the way, thought I had things working.

Condor_master runs on all of my machines, and condor_status returns
what you'd expect. However, I can't submit a job - condor_submit
returns:

   bash$ condor_submit -v Condor_Beam.cfg
Failed to connect to local queue manager

The Condor folks are now giving priority to people willing to pay for
support, and there doesn't appear to be anything like a Condor users
group or unmoderated mailing list, so I'm having trouble getting help.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
        Chance
