Hi! We are trying to set up a PVM machine with 6 DEC Alpha working with NT.
We managed to have PVM working and we are currently testing the
configuration. There are some problems: a) About the hostfile. I have a file
that seems correct to me in the same directory as the console program, and I
start the console with the appropriate parameter, it does not use the
hostfile. How can I know where is the problem? b) I am using the example
programs, I have problems with the 'timing' example. The line:	  
pvm_setopt(PvmRoute, PvmRouteDirect); does not work. If I keep this line, the
master and the slave can't communicate. Any clue about what happens ? c) Is
there any paper about performance tips with NT-Alpha ?
