No, the problem is a bug on the windows version of PVM 3.4. direct 
routing doesn't work! 
You can establish a communication on one way, that is if one of the 
processes requests direct routing and start sending the other will 
receive, but if the other tryes to reply it just hangs!?!
I had the same problem some time ago, but it seams it isn't solved yet! 
The only solution is just not use direct routing.
