I'm hoping somebody could help me here. I have a network of 9 machines
running Redhat 5.1 Linux and PVM 3.4. Everything runs fine but when I
have large jobs which take more than a few hours to run, 2 machines exit
their PVM jobs for no obvious reason. When I look at the log files on
the other machines, I see that all the other machines receive bogus
packets from these two machines. All the machines are identical in every
respect.

The PVM log file reads:

[t80040000] 11/17 12:18:22 netinput() bogus pkt from xxx.xx...  (IP
address of the "defective" machine)
.....

Could somebody have any ideas on getting around this problem?

Thanks,
-Srinidhi
