I'm looking for information on the environment variables BATCH and
PARALLEL used
(in an application that I have inherited) w/ PVM. The BATCH variable,
when set to 1, has the effect of creating the daemon, log, and id files
in the current working directory rather than in /tmp. The filenames
created are of the form:

pvmd.<uid>.<hostid>
pvml.<uid>.<hostid>
pvmid.<uid>.<hostid>

Please provide any pointers.

Thanks.

Brad
