I asked that exact question myself via an e-mail to the address listed for
3Com pre-sales information.  That was about 2 weeks ago and I still haven't
heard anything back.  If their customer service for people who want to buy
their product is that poor, what's it like once they already have your money??

FYI Foundry Net did get back to me with these prices for their 24 port
FastIron Workgroup switch

"The base list price for a 24 port version is $3595.
With one gig port, the price is $4995.
With two gig ports, the price is $6245."
