The first step is to get Linux (or some variation) installed on both
systems.  Then setup TCP/IP network and make sure you can 'ping' each other
and that they both are on the same sub-net.  Create a user account on both
machines.  Install PVM on both systems.  Run the PVM setup to see if you
can configure your virtual system.
