Hello

I am using PVM version 3.4 beta 7 installed on two 486's connected via
standard
ethernet. Both machines are powered by  Red Hat Linux version 5.0.

Unfortunately the master PVM daemon times out after spawning the shadow
pvmd
on the second machine. Whilst the shadow pvmd complains about receiving
"bogus
packets" from the master and also times out. Both pvmd's time out after
roughly three
minutes.

Both PVM_ROOT and PVM_DPATH have been set. Also the shadow PVMD
manages to startup ok.

I am stumped. Any ideas???????????
