Did you add the shell stub to you login script?  The default shell for RedHat
accounts is bash, you need to find the file bashrc.stub and add it to your
.bashrc file in your login directory.  I think the stub files are in pvm3/lib.
There are also stubs for some other shells as well.  I think the pvmgetarch
stuff sets up aimk for you.  Anyway, that's what I did to get it working this
weekend.  I don't have the "Extreme Linux" package, but I'm under the
impression that the extreme package just includes pvm and some other utilities
so I think it should work.

BTW: PVM3.3.11 doesn't build under RedHat 5.2, something about not being able
to determine the size of some struct (sorry, don't have my notes here).  But
PVM3.4Beta builds fine and seems to work ok in my limited testing.
