Hi,  I'm trying to run  DU compiled pvm on 2 Alpha/Linux boxes.
I already run netscape, acrobat and other executables compiled on the
DU,.

I can start pvm on one of the boxes, but I can't add hosts.
I tried   rsh host $PVM_ROOT/lib/pvmd -s  but I don't have a single
error line, as indicated in the FAQ.
What I have is:

[pvmd pid-1] main() can't getpwuid
[pvmd pid932] slave_config: bad args
[pvmd pid932] pvmbailout(0)

Now, I don't know if the first error message is something related to
some variable misconfiguration , or it is a specific problem related to
the fact that I'm using DU binaries on the AXP.

Any help would be very appreciated.
