Hello
I am new to Linux, and am trying to set a Beowulf machine.
As a begining I have been trying to compile PVM and XPVM so I can see
the thing working. (xpvm is giving a tk library error so I figured I had
better build it to suit my configuration)
I am running RedHat 5.2 on a PC, I downloaded the pvm.3.3.11.src from
the net.
I keep getting the error that the fd_set structure is undefined.
I found a mention of FDSETPATCH inside the /src/Makefile.aimk and I
copied it to the conf/LINUX.def as -DFDSETPATCH but still the error keep
showing. I can not find a preprocessor directive commenting out or
asigning it and it is not defined in the sources I have.
Any suggestions?

Thank you

Dany Michaelis
