Hi folks.. just a few questions for you all..

1) I've seen many texts/messages that refer to PVM in the programming sense..
If I were trying to put together a cluster of 386's in order to serve web pages
using pre-existing server software, is PVM the type of thing I'm looking for?
or is it more aimed at ME writing the web server to take advantage of the
parellel power?

2) Is there any HowTo or book, or any such thing that can give me
pseudo-instructions on what's necessary to be done, starting with partitioning
up to the fully operational cluster?

3) I have 4 x 386's with 8 - 16MB of RAM, 150MB HD's, and MCA Ethernet, each.
And 1 x PII 333MHz, 128MB of RAM, 8GB HD, Ethernet; which I intend to use as
the main computer. What flavour of *nix is best suited for this configuration?
Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Unix, etc..?

Thanks in advance,

Jay
