Hello,

I had the same problems. Also after installing de dev-files of readline
the error changed to tputs, tgets etc etc. I' went back to version
3.3.11, cause that worked and 3.4 didn't bring me anything I needed at
that time. The 3.4 beta version worked fine, but I can't find it any
more.

Sorry, no solution, just want to let you know you're not the only one.
