I've just found and installed a PVM
on a Solaris 2.6Intel Client.

It runs about perfectly on both of them stand-alone.
( By the way the Intel-box is dual.)

I can rsh the pvmd on the Solaris from the intel-box w/o
any problems but when I tell PVM to do so he writes
an error "ERROR: expected version, got "ddpro:<sth.>"" .
There is no output none when rsh-ing that could confuse him.

Any idea what this could be about?

Sorry, but I can't give the version-number of the Solaris-Part.
