Alec,
        I hear you.  I still can't bring myself to throw away my 'transputer
instruction set' and 'T9000 Hardware' manuals even though it's
unlikely I'll ever touch a transputer again.  I find that my transputer
experience lives on in my design approach - I'll always
tend to take a muti-threaded approach to things where others
might use a layered one.
