It is available for MS Windows 3.1/95 at: http://users.senet.com.au/~peterm/winfold.htm The main differences from Origami... To record fold information without impairing the appearence of files when viewed with a conventional editor, WinFold uses unobstrusive markers. (In case such a marker is accidentally deleted by someone using a conventional editor, it handles missing markers in a robust manner.) It can also be set up to interpret the border lines such as are typically inserted in a file to divide it into sections as start and end fold lines. When operating in this mode, if the border line contains no text, the line following the border line is displayed as the header, otherwise the text in the border line is displayed. This means that files produced with a conventional editor can be displayed by WinFold as folded files, if they contain appropriate border lines. A feature of WinFold that will be appreciated by configuration managers, is that it only changes those lines that are actually edited, or that need changing to reflect changes in fold structure. WinFold has good online help and is very affordable. Any suggestions for improvements would be appreciated.
