- The Interactive Data Language (IDL) is a software package
for data analysis, data visualization, and cross-platform
application development. It features 2D and 3D graphics
capability, image processing, integrated mathematics
and statistics, etc. The IDL GUIBuilder enables rapid
generation of GUIs.
