- Abstract
- Image was originally developed for the Macintosh at
the National Institute of Health (NIH). Scion subsequently
ported it to the Windows 95/NT platforms. The Windows
port has extensive support for all Scion frame grabbers.
It can display 24-bit color images. It has extensive
image analysis capabilities with an easy-to-use GUI.
It also has image enhancement and annotation support,
and full macro language for task automation. It is
available from Scion Corporation at no charge.
