PARDI

Abstract

The PARDI software enables mixed networks of Windows and UNIX computers to work in Parallel. Standard toolkits such as PVM 3.10 run on top of PARDI's high performance message passing and resource control software. To use PARDI existing PVM applications just need to relink with PARDI libraries. The developers of PARDI have placed particular emphasis on producing an efficient message passing system suitable for industrial and scientific parallel applications. PARDI message passing latency is approximately half that of ORNL PVM. The software can be downloaded free of charge from the Perihelion web site.
