VECFEM - VECtorized Finite Element Method
- Abstract
- VECFEM is a solver for general, nonlinear variational problems based on the finite element method. Variational problem typically arise from the weak formulations of systems of partial differential equations (PDEs). VECFEM is applicable to elliptic and parabolic problems. The descretization is done by the finite element methods with an arbitrary and problem adapted mesh. VECFEM 3.0 allows massive parallel processing with distributed memory and explicit message passing.
